Overview
This package contains the STL files for my miniature bookshelf designs. I created this in conjunction with the miniature book models that I created which can be found here. The miniature book and these bookshelf designs have different variations allowing you to print them as you see fit. The miniature book design has both a solid and magnetized version. These shelf models have designs for solid, magnetic, and modular (both magnetic and removable back panel). The modular design idea is to let you print the back panel with different patterns, textures, or even add decals.
Variations
Solid - The standard version of this shelf design. I designed it to be simple to print and attempted to keep the 1:12 scaling accurate.
Magnetic - The same as the Solid version, except there are pockets along the sides and across the shelves. The intent is to work in conjunction with my magnetic miniature book design which keeps them lined up and prevents them from falling out. The horizontal magnetics allow for setting the book horizontal instead of vertical to let you arrange the books as you like.
Modular - Same as the magnetic (with all the same pockets) except it adds a sliding back panel. The idea being custom patterns from different print bed plates, printed wallpaper, decals, or even simply using cardboard cut to fit.

Note: I'm not recommending these settings. I'm informing you of the settings that I used in the event your results are different and help you in troubleshooting any printing issues that may arise due to any variances.
Printing Suggestions
I designed this model to be printed lying flat with my FDM printer. I'm sure it could be printed vertically, but I've not tested it in that position. If you want to use the version that has a compartment for a neodymium magnet, horizontal printing is required, and you will need to insert a pause in the slice on the layer just before the top surface is printed. I've tested printing it this way and it worked great for me.
Regarding resin prints, I've not printed this model with resin yet, so I can't provide any recommendations. The design isn't complicated so I would assume you could print it with minimal risk. If printing with the back of the shelf on the build plate, you'll probably need no supports except for possibly the back panel lip on the modular version. Note, printing the magnetic version will not be possible with resin printers, so please do not attempt it, you'll end up with a huge mess and a major health risk.
